Reached my minimum goal. Thanks to a donation from Melissa Gold (via Israel) that got me to $1001. I'm still fundraising; last year I clearly was able to raise a bit more.
This Wednesday I took a 'personal day' as I was going to hang with Simon later in the day and then head to a METS game with him. Biked 20 miles in the morning in Central Park. The atmosphere was totally different during a regular day. I love how Central Park takes on different energies on different days/times.
Hoping for another long ride Sunday--we'll see if the weather holds up.

Why Bike?
This blog is the journey of a city gal who wants to see New York City from a new perspective. After biking in Paris, Barcelona, Unitd Kingdom, Germany, Israel, Chicago, and on the Jersey Shore, I thought why not Manhattan? AND while I am at it raise $1000 towards The Jewish Environmental Bike Ride.
